Test Results

On the previous page in the bottom corner was a test to help see if someone is going to Heaven. So what did you score? 1, 5, 9?  Unfortunately, no matter what you scored the result is the same, if you are depending on any of those things to get you into Heaven you are in big trouble 'cause you aren't going to make it. Although many of those things are good, (some have not place at all in Christian faith)  not one of them will get you into Heaven. The Bible tells us in Romans 3:20 Therefore by the deeds of the law there shall no flesh be justified in his sight: for by the law is the knowledge of sin. That is what the law (ten commandments) is for. It is to show us we are sinners without hope. When we see we can't keep the law, we realize we need help. Sin separates us from God as we see in Isaiah 59:2, "But your iniquities have separated between you and your God, and your sins have hid his face from you, that he will not hear." So you can pray and meditate all day long but as long as you are in your sin God doesn't hear you. In fact the Bible goes on to say in Romans 6:23, "For the wages of sin is death" . That death isn't just talking about physical death but an eternal spiritual death (separation) in the lake of fire, Revelation 20:14-15, " And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death. And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire." The problem then is how do we get rid of our sin and get reconciled to God? The good news is God loves us so much He doesn't want us to be separated from Him, not now and certainly not for eternity so He provided a solution. In love and mercy He has given us ONE way to be reconciled to Him. Romans 5:8, "But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us." How does that help? Well as we have read already sin has a penalty - death. The Lord Jesus Christ willingly came and died for us in our place. He was sinless and and did not have to die, but instead He took our sins on Himself and shed His blood that they could be washed away. These verses makes it clear that He took our sins and suffered for them:  Isaiah 53:4-6, "Surely he hath borne our griefs, and carried our sorrows: yet we did esteem him stricken, smitten of God, and afflicted. But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed. All we like sheep have gone astray; we have turned every one to his own way; and the LORD hath laid on him the iniquity of us all." and in 2 Corinthians 5:21, "For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him." and that He shed His blood to cleanse away our sin Hebrews 9:22b, "almost all things are by the law purged with blood; and without shedding of blood is no remission." and further it tells us in 1 John 1:7b, "the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin. Three days after Jesus died and was buried He arose from the dead and left the grave in victory over sin, death, and the grave, because He is indeed God in the flesh. The Bible tells us in Hebrews 7:25, "Wherefore he is able also to save them to the uttermost that come unto God by him, seeing he ever liveth to make intercession for them." The choice is yours now. He has done all the work that can be done for our salvation, He bought it with His blood, and is offering it to you as a gift. Ephesians 2:8-9, "For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast."  and Romans 6:23b, "the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord." Don't insult Him by offering your own payment of good works for what He has already paid such a high and loving price. You have the choice : you can repent of your way, your sin and receive Jesus Christ as your Saviour or you can reject Him. THAT and THAT alone will determine whether you go to Heaven or spend eternity in Hell. If you believe what the Lord has told you in His word, talk to Him now, tell Him that, and ask Him to come into your heart as your Lord and Saviour! He will - He promised - and He always keeps His promises. Romans 10:9-10 & 13, "That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.
